Francisca Ordega has proven that she is a good farmer as she continues to make the best of her time during the lockdown amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The Shanghai star is currently in her home country, Gboko in Benue State in north-central Nigeria as she hopes the Covid-19 pandemic ends soon to return to the field.
The 26-year-old had opened up about her admiration for Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and also revealed her dreams of playing for the English Women’s Super League (WSL) giants in the future.
While also keeping up her fitness routine, the 2018 African Women’s Footballer of the Year nominee has taken time out to discover her many talents, including cooking while staying at home.
Ordega scored seven goals to help Shanghai to finish as the Chinese Women’s Super League runners-up last season, with 29 points – five behind champions Jiangsu Suning from 14 matches.
The Nigerian international was part of the Chinese side’s preseason tour in Portugal where they spend almost a month before leaving for their various bases during the international break in March.
The ban on foreigners’ entry into China halts Ordega’s hopes of reuniting with her teammates.
With sporting activities and teams’ training resuming in the Asian country, the former Washington Spirit striker is eager to return to China ahead of the new 2020 season.
In her latest video shared on Instagram, the Shanghai striker, who joined the Chinese Women’s Super League (CWSL) outfit last January is seen making ridges on a farm with her mum.
